In this workshop we’ll discuss social media websites and tools, in particular:

• Twitter
• Facebook
• YouTube
• Foursquare
• Tumblr
• Skype
• Instagram
• Vine
• Hootsuite
• anything that interests you.

To Get Your Checkmark

• Embed a video on your WordPress blog.
• If you don’t have a Twitter account already, set one up!
• Sign up for one other social media site that you don’t already use, that you think you might find helpful in journalism.
• Link to it from your homepage (publish.uwo.ca/~username)
