How this mini-course is evaluated for your grade:
This mini-course is graded on a pass/fail basis. If you complete the course, you’ll get the eight points for this assignment! So, how are the lessons (days) weighted?
- Day One, Two (1 point)
- Day Three, Four (1 point)
- Day Five, Six (1 point)
- Day Seven, Eight (1 point)
- Day Nine, Ten (1 point)
- Your WordPress Site documenting the journey (3 points)
The goal of this last part is pretty simple — I want you to get familiar with WordPress. (The free .com version is fine. Also, note that you can complete this assignment using nothing but the free version — you don’t need to pay for domains or fancy themes.) If you want to get #MMJC10DoT before we learn WordPress, you can just jump ahead to Week 6 on OWL and find the material there.
What should be on this mini-site:
- at least four pages — the home page and three others (they can be posts or pages, whatever you prefer)
- navigation or a menu that takes the user to all of those pages
- at least five embedded tweets (one for each grouping of days 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10)
- at least one image (meme, photo, infographic, ect.)
- bragging rights if you can make this entertaining

How to embed a tweet
Click on those three dots at the top right of the tweet you want to use, and choose “Embed Tweet”. Then click on the blue “copy code” button, and paste that code into your HTML document.
